The coastal clean-up at the Back Bay was a huge success. We loved seeing all the schools, scout groups and families putting in their time and energy into taking care of the environment. A good time was had by all. And the Back Bay looks so clean again. One thing we noticed that was disappointing was the amount of dog poop everywhere. It was awful. If you have a dog please clean up after it.
After the clean-up the Newport Fire Department was nice enough to supply hamburgers and veggie burgers for all the volunteers. We thank them for doing that.
