Sights that make us work harder to pick up trash
Walking along the beach this week I was deeply saddened by all the trash I came across. People have shoved their trash between large rocks all over this beach. Also the water had a lot of it floating on top and under the water. Notice the plastic bag under the water. It looks like jellyfish to ocean dwellers. It can be fatal to them when consumed. This why we not only pick up trash everyday, it is also why we ask everyone to join us in picking up trash. Lets work together to keep our oceans clean!
Jamming trash somewhere out of sight does not make it go away!
Here you can see how an animal, bird or marine mammal can mistake a plastic bag for a jellyfish.
This is what I picked up 3 steps onto the beach! And 4 bags later when I left.
