Saw Blue Whales spouting off shore this week
We saw 2 Blue Whales spouting off the shore of Laguna Beach this week. One spouted about 4 times and it looked like he was about a mile out which is really close for a Blue Whale You usually have to go out on a boat to see them. You could see him so clear with the binoculars. It was really cool!! Blue Whales are the largest creature in the universe and feed here off the coast (Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, etc.) during the summer time eating Krill.
I have been on a few sightseeing tours for whales and dolphins they are extremely fun. I have always wanted to see a blue whale in person, and I can't believe that it got so close to you guys that is awesome. I have another trip planned next summer and we will definitely be scheduling a trip in hopes to see a blue whale this time.
